Shotta was first established in October 2008 as an "Audio Only" station operating out of DJ Nev's bedroom! Shotta quickly grew into a very popular website with many hits and listeners locked in for each show. Unfortunately however Shotta had to cease broadcasting in 2009 due to noise complaints made to the Council In 2010 Shotta was reborn as www.shotta.tv, it now has a new home where music can be played as loud as the DJ's like!! Since October 2010 Shotta has gone from strength to strength and has seen over 100 individual artists perform on a regular basis. Shotta has had hits from as far away as the USA, Jamaica and Hawaii but maintains its roots firmly in Preston! Playing a nice mix of urban music ranging from Reggae to Grime Shotta TV aims to showcase and nurture as much musical talent as possible.
